Gregg Roberts-Aguirre has an extensive background in the field of dual language education and language studies. Gregg is currently serving as the Director of the Dual Language Immersion Alliance at Avant Assessment, a role they started in August 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Dual Language Innovation Coordinator at Avant Assessment, starting in November 2022.
Before joining Avant Assessment, Gregg worked at the American Councils for International Education as the Director of Dual Language Studies from July 2017 to November 2022. Gregg also has experience with the Utah State Board of Education, where they served as the Dual Language Immersion & World Language Specialist from July 2006 to July 2017. Gregg'searlier role was as a World Languages Specialist at the Granite School District from July 2003 to July 2006.
Throughout their career, Gregg has shown a dedication to promoting dual language education and coordinating language studies initiatives.
Gregg Roberts-Aguirre earned their bachelor's degree in European History from the University of Utah, where they studied from 1985 to 1991. Gregg further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in French/Comparative Literature from 1992 to 1995. Gregg continued their academic journey and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Comparative Literature at the University of Utah.
