Marco Jansen

Marco Jansen is an experienced business director with a robust background in biopolymers and sustainability. Currently serving as the Business Director for Biopolymers EMEA and Advocacy & Sustainability Director for Europe & Asia at Braskem since 2010, Marco has held various leadership roles focused on circular economy and renewable chemicals. Additionally, Marco represents Braskem on the National Advisory Board in the Netherlands and vice-chairs the Strategic Committee on Climate & Production at Plastics Europe. Prior roles include board member at Holland Bioplastics and sales manager at Arkema and Air Products. Marco holds a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Economics and further education in marketing from TIAS School for Business and Society and ECHO Opleidingen Amersfoort.
