Rick Campins has extensive experience in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and operations management. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs at Avantor, where they lead the global Quality and Regulatory functions. Prior to that, they founded the Campins Group, Inc., specializing in real estate development and medical device quality system and regulatory affairs consulting. Rick also worked at 3M as the Vice President of Enterprise Quality, overseeing the Enterprise Quality team for a $32 billion corporation. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Compliance at Danaher Corporation, leading the Quality and Regulatory Compliance teams for multiple sites. Rick has also held leadership positions at Boston Scientific, Northwest Airlines, and the United States Air Force, where they gained experience in quality management, operations, and safety.
Rick Campins holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, which they obtained from 2002 to 2004. Rick also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Regulatory Affairs & Services from St. Cloud State University, completed from 2014 to 2016. Rick earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration from Bethel University between 2000 and 2002. In addition to their academic achievements, Rick holds various certifications, including ISO 13485 Lead Auditor (obtained in June 2009), Six Sigma certification from General Electric (GE) in 2003, and several certifications from government agencies such as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
