Nicole Spyt-James has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nicole started their career in 2011 as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at Two One Two Design, where they managed scheduling and meetings and oversaw office operations. In 2013, they worked as a Sales Associate at Prada, where they maintained accounts with high-end clients and achieved sales goals. Nicole then joined Twice in 2014 as an Operations Associate and was later promoted to Operations Supervisor and Logistics and Training Specialist. Nicole joined Nitrous Inc. in 2015 as an Office Manager and Quizlet, Inc. in 2016 as an Executive Assistant/Office Operations Coordinator. Nicole is currently working at Avantpage Translations, initially as an Office Manager in 2017, and later moved to roles such as Head of People Operations and currently holds the position of Director of People Operations. In this role, they oversee Human Resources, Finance, and Office Management/Administration for the global company. Nicole's diverse experience has provided their with skills in cross-cultural team building, global office management, compliance, and project management.
Nicole Spyt-James has a diverse education history. Nicole began their academic journey in 2007 at Montclair State University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. During their time at Montclair State, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Westminster, where they focused on Social Sciences for a brief period in 2007.
In 2008, Nicole briefly attended Université Paris-Sorbonne, where they focused on French Studies. The following year, in 2009, they continued their exploration of the French language and literature at Aix-Marseille University.
After completing their undergraduate studies at Montclair State, Nicole decided to further enhance their skills in the fashion industry. From 2011 to 2014, they attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), earning a Professional Designation in Fashion/Apparel Design.
Overall, Nicole Spyt-James has a strong background in sociology, with a Bachelor's degree from Montclair State University, and they have also explored their passion for French language and literature through study abroad opportunities.
