Achala Dissanayake

Achala Dissanayake is a co-founder of Avantrio since January 2019, bringing valuable experience as a visiting instructor at the University of Moratuwa from September to December 2018, where responsibilities included designing and grading academic projects for the Database Systems module. Achala has worked as a contract full stack developer from April to December 2018 and completed a software engineering trainee position at 99X Technology in 2017, leading a team of interns on the eCommerce module for the Tracified project. Experience as a technology consultant at IgniterSpace involved designing educational activities in engineering, robotics, and programming for children aged 5 to 16. Achala's early leadership roles include serving as a senior prefect and senior cadet at Royal College Colombo, with notable achievements including multiple merit awards. Education includes an engineer's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, alongside a certificate in professional computer applications from the Open University of Sri Lanka.
