Grace Cheng is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in study design, data analysis, and program evaluation. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at the American Institutes for Research since January 2019 and a Senior Research Analyst at Avar Consulting, Inc. since April 2012, Grace's responsibilities include overseeing quality assurance, managing research assistants, and engaging with clients. Formerly, as a Research Instructor and Project Director at Georgetown University, Grace led a National Cancer Institute-funded project aimed at increasing colorectal cancer screening. Previous roles include outreach specialization and internship positions focused on community engagement and educational support within the District of Columbia Public Schools. Grace holds a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Maryland, along with a Master of Education from Beijing Normal University and a Bachelor of Arts from Hebei University.
