Pieter Schoeman

Pieter Schoeman is an experienced Risk & Compliance professional currently serving as the Risk & Compliance Manager at Avara since November 2023. Prior to this role, Pieter held multiple positions at MoonPay from January 2021 to November 2023, including Head of Regulatory Compliance, International, and Compliance Associate. Pieter also worked at Luno as a Compliance Analyst specializing in AML and KYC from April 2019 to December 2020. Pieter holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from Stellenbosch University, and additional educational qualifications from Åbo Akademi University.
