Ian Tong

Ian Tong is the current CEO and Executive Director at Avarga Ltd. Ian has also previously worked for GE, Avarga Limited, Phileo Development Limited, The Edge Media Group, FASTrack Autosports Pte Ltd, Phileo Capital Ltd, UPP Holdings Limited, Axio Developments Limited, and Asia Analytica Sdn Bhd. Ian started their career as a Junior Financial Analyst at Asia Analytica Sdn Bhd in May of 2008 and then held the position of Commercial Finance Analyst at GE from October 2011 to April 2012. In August of 2012 they became the Executive VP, Investments at UPP Holdings Limited and held that position until March of 2018. Ian has been with Avarga Ltd since October of 2013 and became the CEO and Executive Director in April of 2015.

Ian Tong completed a Masters in Management at the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at Trinity Western University.
