Andrew Barnes

Andrew Barnes has extensive experience in engineering and manufacturing, currently serving as a Manufacturing Engineer at Avcorp Industries since 1998. In this role, Andrew focuses on creating bills of material and shop orders using the BaaN ERP system, developing detailed manufacturing instructions with MS Word and CATIA V5, and ensuring configuration control. Prior to this, Andrew worked in Supplier Quality Development, liaising with the supply chain to educate on quality requirements and auditing suppliers. Andrew also has a background as a Project Designer at Enerflex Systems Ltd. and as an Engineering Technologist at EDO Canada, specializing in design and layout for gas compressor stations and various engineering processes. Andrew holds a Diploma in Mechanical Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, completed in 1986.
