Bas van Straten

Bas van Straten is an experienced project manager with a strong background in the industrial sector, currently serving as Commissioning and Startup Manager for a new Dryer at Avebe since July 2019. Bas has been a partner and project manager at Manamo VOF since January 2017, focusing on project and program management as well as process optimization. Prior to that, Bas worked as a Project Manager Industry at Sitech Services BV, leading multidisciplinary project teams for chemical plants from January 2010 to October 2017. Bas's extensive experience in project management also includes significant roles at Imtech Projects Zuid, where various projects in industrial automation were managed, and earlier positions at Tummers Cremers and HOMIJ Technische Installaties, emphasizing electrotechnical and mechanical installations. Bas holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the College of Higher Education - Hogeschool Eindhoven and has completed various educational programs, including DSM Internal Education and courses at ISBW - Sittard.
