Benjamin Thompson

Benjamin Thompson, PhD, is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as the Process Development Project Leader at Nitto Avecia since May 2016. Previously, Benjamin held various positions at Nitto Avecia, including Principal Process Development Scientist and Senior Process Development Chemist. Benjamin's career includes work as an Advanced Chemist at Eastman Chemical Company from June 2012 to February 2016 and as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Michigan from August 2006 to May 2012. An internship in Medicinal Chemistry at Amgen occurred in the summer of 2006. Benjamin's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Boston College.
