Poonam Sharma

Poonam Sharma, Ph.D, currently serves as a Quality Control Analyst at Nitto Avecia since July 2023. With extensive experience in academic and educational roles, Poonam has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher from March 2011 and previously held positions as a Substitute Teacher at Mason City Schools from August 2018 to September 2023 and a Coach for Destination Imagination from March 2017 to March 2018. Poonam's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Botany from DAV(PG) College, a Master of Science in Botany/Plant Biology, and a Bachelor's in Science with a focus on Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Additionally, Poonam obtained a Certificate in Instructional Design from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education. Prior teaching experience includes serving as a Botany Lecturer from 2006 to 2008 at DBS(PG) College Dehradun.
