Khalid Salman

Khalid Salman is an experienced NLP Engineer currently working at Aveni since August 2022. Khalid previously held the role of Data Science Intern at Profusion, where a What-If-Pricing platform was developed for a UK retail company using a Random Forest model. At Queen Mary University of London, Khalid contributed as a Q-tech project volunteer, researching AI techniques for accessibility tools targeting individuals with disabilities, and served as a Teaching Assistant, mentoring over 50 students in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning. Khalid also worked as a Software Engineer at 249Startups, focusing on software solutions for customer communication, and at Next technology, where frontend development for an e-commerce app was undertaken. Khalid holds an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Khartoum.
