Jaco Zuiderent

Jaco Zuiderent has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jaco began their career as a Financial Auditor at KPMG Switzerland, where they gained a solid understanding of clients' business and financial reporting needs. Jaco then worked as a Branch Manager at Careerplus, a start-up company specializing in search and selection of experts in finance and accounting.

After that, Jaco joined SAP as a Business Architect, supporting companies in improving their financial and management processes through the SAP Business Suite. Jaco later became a Global Account Director at SAP, where they gained extensive experience in a lead role in a business application team selling environment.

Jaco then transitioned to SAP Ariba, taking on the role of Sales Director for SAP Digital Procurement Switzerland. In this position, they led a team of dedicated Procurement sales experts and helped numerous customers in Switzerland embark on their procurement journey in the cloud.

Following their tenure at SAP Ariba, Jaco worked as a Senior Account Director at Coupa Software, where they extended strategic account business in Switzerland by assisting clients in reducing costs and improving their EPS.

Most recently, they joined Aveniq as a Senior Sales Manager. Aveniq is a leading IT service provider for Swiss SMEs, specializing in SAP solutions and other technologies.

Before their career in the corporate world, Jaco served as the Managing Director of Ecole Suisse de Tourisme - Schweizerische Tourismusfachschule at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland Valais. Jaco led the school through a transformation process and successfully integrated it into the university's Bachelor program.

Overall, Jaco Zuiderent has a strong background in sales, account management, and business transformation, particularly in the IT and software industry.

Jaco Zuiderent holds a Master of Arts (MA HSG) degree in Business Administration and Economics, majoring in Small and Medium Enterprises, from the University of St.Gallen. Jaco also obtained a CAS Chief Digital Officer certification from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, specializing in Digitalization. In terms of additional certifications, Jaco received the Sales Knowledge 2021 - SAP Partner Digital and Social Selling Expert certification from SAP in October 2022. Jaco completed the Scrum: The Basics course and the Strategic Partnerships: Ecosystems and Platforms course from LinkedIn in November 2021. Jaco also received the SAP Alumni Award from SAP in October 2021. Jaco completed the Tony Schwartz on Managing Your Energy for Sustainable High Performance course and the Remote Work Foundations course from LinkedIn in January 2021 and December 2020, respectively. Additionally, Jaco obtained the IPMA - Agile Leadership Level D certification from VZPM - Association for the Certification of Persons in Management in June 2022. Prior to their higher education, Jaco completed their Matura with a major in economics and law at Kantonsschule Zug. Jaco also pursued a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) course at Inspiritive NLP in Sydney, Australia, in 2007.
