Michael Binder

Michael Binder has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Michael is currently working at Aveniq as an Expert IT Architect, starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Solutions Architect at Aveniq starting from April 2020.

Before joining Aveniq, Michael worked at Novartis for a significant period. Their roles at Novartis included Senior Solution Architect, where they were responsible for transforming innovation program results into scalable assets for the company. Michael also developed an architecture blueprint for a corporate Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality platform during their tenure.

Additionally, Michael served as the Head End User Systems Architecture at Novartis, where they led the architecture of the Windows 10 platform and managed a team. Michael had various other roles at Novartis, including IT Architect (End User Systems), Workstation Team Lead, and Senior Systems Engineer.

At the start of their career, Michael worked at IBM as a Windows Systems Engineer and IT Specialist. Michael worked on Windows systems and specialized in IT during their time at IBM.

Michael Binder has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, which they obtained from 1994 to 1997. In 2019, they pursued further education by completing a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Agile Organization from the same university. Additionally, in December 2019, they obtained a certification as a Lean Change Agent from the Lean Change Management Association.
