Shaunna K. Burbidge

Shaunna K. Burbidge has a diverse work experience in the field of transportation planning and research. Shaunna K. is currently working as the Director of Research at Avenue Consultants since March 2019. Before this, Shaunna was the President of Active Planning, a transportation consulting firm, from May 2005 to March 2019. Shaunna K. is also a Standing Committee Member at the Transportation Research Board - National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine since April 2005. Shaunna has also held positions as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Utah (July 2009 to July 2010), a Visiting Assistant Professor at Brigham Young University (July 2008 to July 2009), a Project Planner at Envision Utah (2005-2006), a Graduate Researcher at UC Berkeley (January 2004 to December 2004), and a Planner at Parsons Brinckerhoff (April 2002 to December 2002).

Shaunna K. Burbidge completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in History and Geography at Weber State University from 1998 to 2003. Shaunna K. then pursued their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Geography at UC Santa Barbara from 2003 to 2005. Shaunna continued their education at UC Santa Barbara, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Geography from 2003 to 2008.
