Scott Romanowski

Scott Romanowski is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in trading and asset management within the mortgage-backed securities market. Currently serving as Head of Capital at Avenue One since April 2022, Scott leads initiatives in a property technology platform for institutional stakeholders involved in residential real estate transactions. Prior to this role, Scott was Managing Director and Head of Non-Agency Trading at Amherst Pierpont Securities LLC, where a data-driven approach significantly increased market share and facilitated underwriting over $10 billion in RMBS deals in 2021. Experience also includes serving as Vice President of Trading at Lone Star Funds, where strategic asset management of distressed mortgage assets resulted in exceptional IRRs, and positions at Bank Hapoalim and UBS focused on portfolio management and trading of RMBS and related securities. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Providence College.
