Jane Gerber has a diverse background in the legal field. Jane is currently working at Avenue5 Residential as the Vice President Legal. Prior to that, they held positions as a Bankruptcy Attorney at McDermott Will & Emery, Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, and Dykema. Jane also gained experience in the judicial system by serving as a Law Clerk to Chief Judge Barbara J. Houser at the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Texas, and as a Judicial Intern for Chief Judge Brenda T. Rhoades at the United States Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of Texas. Jane Gerber obtained their Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and served as the Managing Editor of the Washington University Global Studies Law Review. In addition, they gained valuable experience through internships at the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Jane Gerber received their B.A. in Latin and Classical Civilizations from Wellesley College in 2003. Jane later obtained their Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2014.
