Marijn van der Wal

Marijn van der Wal is a skilled biofuel analyst currently working at Avere Commodities S.A. since February 2024. Previously, Marijn served as a Biodiesel Analyst at COFCO International from November 2021 to February 2024, focusing on global biodiesel markets, particularly in the US and EU. Prior to that, Marijn held various roles at Stratas Advisors from May 2018 to November 2021, managing subscription services related to global biofuels and analyzing developments in Asia and the EU. Early experience includes a data-analyst traineeship at the European Commission in 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Conflict, Security and Development from King's College London and a Master’s degree in European Governance from Sciences Po Grenoble, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
