Tate Baker

Tate Baker has a diverse range of work experience. Most recently, in 2022, they worked as a Robotics Field Engineer at Avestec Technologies Inc. Prior to that, from 2022 to 2022, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Student at the same company. In 2020, Tate was a Computer Aided Design Drafter at Babcock Canada Inc. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Mechanical Designer at UVic AERO. In 2017, they held positions as a Mechanical Co-op at Cypress Solutions Inc. and as an Electrical Co-op at RAM Engineering. In 2016, they worked as a 3D Printing Consultant at BGC Engineering Inc. Lastly, from 2014 to 2015, they were a General Contractor at Peninsula ICF. Throughout their roles, Tate gained experience in robotics, mechanical engineering, computer aided design, thermal analysis, 3D printing, and general contracting.

Tate Baker completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria. This educational journey took place from 2017 to 2022.
