Margot Shapiro serves as Managing Partner at Spiral Sun Ventures, focusing on investments in early-stage companies that enhance health for people, pets, and the environment. As a Board Advisor for Women Entrepreneurs Global, Shapiro supports female entrepreneurs worldwide through a startup innovation platform. Shapiro is also a Venture Partner at Avestria Ventures, specializing in women's health and female-led life sciences, and a Board Member at Brass Roots. Additionally, Shapiro holds a Partner position at LMN Ventures, LLC, investing in Consumer, Life Science, and Health & Wellness sectors, while previously managing Chicklabs, a hybrid incubator for women-led companies. With experience on the Executive Committee of Tech Coast Angels and in roles at Fertile Ground, LLC, and Goldman Sachs, Shapiro's educational background includes an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS/MS in Economics and Applied Earth Science from Stanford University.
