Jason King

Jason King, CHST has 5 years of work experience in various roles related to safety and health. From 2014, they have been working at Avetta as the Lead for US QHSE Audit and Field Services, where they conduct audits, assesses contractor HSE management systems, and applies risk and hazard assessment methodologies across various industries. Prior to that, they worked as an Industrial Safety Instructor at Falck Safety Services (Global) from 2013 to 2014. Jason also served as an HS&E Supervisor at B&E Resources, Ltd from 2012 to 2013, and as a Safety Technician & Rescue Specialist at Sprint Safety from 2009 to 2012.

Jason King, CHST, began their education in 2006 at San Jacinto College, where they earned a Certificate in Fire Science. Jason then attended TEEX in 2012-2013, obtaining a degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician. Jason's education continued at Columbia Southern University in 2018, where they studied Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene. In addition to their formal education, Jason has obtained additional certifications, including Construction Health & Safety Technician from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in 2015 and OSHA 500 Authorized Construction Industry Outreach Trainer from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2013.
