Jeff Dalton

Jeff Dalton has a vast and extensive work experience in various legal roles. Jeff currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Avetta, where they lead and manages the legal department, providing support and guidance to the senior management and the board of directors. Prior to joining Avetta, Jeff held the position of General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at the companies Wick Phillips and Aspira. Jeff has also worked as the Deputy General Counsel and Head of Privacy at ACTIVE Network and as the Associate General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at MoneyGram International. Jeff's expertise includes strategic transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and litigation management. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in global contracts, intellectual property protection, privacy, and risk management. Before transitioning to the corporate sector, Jeff worked as an Associate Attorney at Clark, Thomas & Winters and Broocks, Baker & Lange, where they handled various legal matters related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation issues, employment disputes, and corporate governance.

Jeff Dalton's education history includes a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from SMU Dedman School of Law. Jeff also attended Universität Innsbruck for an Institute on World Legal Problems. Prior to that, they obtained a BBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University. Jeff Dalton also attended Albuquerque Academy. Jeff has additional certifications in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn and is a Licensed Attorney with the State Bar of Texas. Jeff is also certified as The Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US) by the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
