Phil Tyler

Phil Tyler has a diverse and extensive background in aviation and operations management, currently serving as the Manager of Flight Operations at Avplan Trip Support since December 2010. Previously, Tyler owned Kestrel Consulting, providing expertise in operations, logistics, and training program development. Tyler also held the position of Vice President of Operations at Colt International Inc., where responsibilities included developing a 24-hour international flight operation department. Other roles include General Manager at Data Rush Courier & Freight, Chief Operations Officer at SmartFleet, and President of Baseops International, Inc., focusing on company growth and internal efficiencies. Early career experience includes positions as an Aviation Meteorologist and Aviation Weather Forecaster, with foundational education in Meteorology from Texas A&M University.
