Michael Becher

Michael Becher has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Michael is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at Avi Medical since October 2022. Prior to this, they held the same position at wefox from September 2020 to October 2022.

Before joining Avi Medical, they worked at N26 Group as the Global Head of Employee Experience, Leadership & Organizational Development from October 2018 to November 2020. Prior to this, they were the Head of HR - Germany, Central and Eastern Europe at Booking.com from January 2018 to September 2018.

Michael also has experience as an Interim Head of HR / Organizational Development from September 2015 to September 2018, where they contributed to various HR-related projects.

Michael's earlier experiences include working as a Senior HR Business Partner at Amazon from July 2013 to August 2015. Before that, they worked at DHL in different roles such as Senior Expert First Choice Advisor, where they worked as a Project Manager & Agile Coach, and Human Resources Business Partner. Michael was responsible for improving processes and providing valuable insights in HR.

Their career began as a Sales Assistant at LUSH GmbH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics in June 2007, and they progressed to become a Store Manager and later the HR Manager & Trainer for Germany/Czech Republic.

Overall, Michael Becher has a strong background in HR and organizational development, with extensive experience in leadership and employee experience roles.

Michael Becher attended Leipzig University from 2003 to 2010, where they obtained a degree in Diplom-Geograph with a specialization in Geographie. In addition to their university education, they also obtained a certification in Stakeholder Management Training from Lepaya in April 2022.
