Catia Andreassi

Catia Andreassi has a long history of work experience in the field of scientific research. Catia began their career in 1999 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Ohio State University. In 2001, they moved to Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore as a Post-doctoral Fellow. Catia then moved to The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg in 2002, where they worked as a Post-doctoral Fellow. In 2005, they joined University College London as a Research Associate, where they were later appointed as Senior Research Associate to lead a project investigating the role of alternative 3'UTR usage in mRNA transport and local translation in axons of sympathetic neurons. Finally, in 2022 they joined AviadoBio as Lead Scientist.

Catia Andreassi obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in 1999, after completing a MSc Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Università di Pisa in 1994.
