Jeannine Harris

Jeannine Harris has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Jeannine began their career in 1994 as a Staff Accountant at Jarrett Stokes & Co. Jeannine then worked as an Accounting Assistant at The New Republic from 1995 to 1997, where they were responsible for accounts payable, payroll, and month-end and year-end closing. From 1997 to 1998, Jeannine served as a Staff Accountant at Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc., handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Jeannine then joined Lloyd Lamont Design as a Staff Accountant in 1998, where they oversaw payroll reports, tax filings, and year-end reports.

Moving forward, Jeannine transitioned to the Calvert Marine Museum in 2013 as an Accountant. In this role, they prepared financial statements, tracked and analyzed expenses, and ensured accurate payroll documentation.

Currently, Jeannine holds the position of Director of Contracts at AVIAN since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Contracts Manager at AVIAN from 2021 to 2022 and as the Test Resource Manager UX-24 / ISEET Contract Team Lead from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Contracts Manager at AVIAN from 2017 to 2019.

Overall, Jeannine has built an extensive background in finance, accounting, and contract management throughout their career.

Jeannine Harris has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained a Certified Professional Contract Manager certification from the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) in August 2022 and completed the AVIAN Leadership Development Program from AVIAN in March 2022.
