Daniel Eduardo Díaz Cárdenas

Daniel Eduardo Díaz Cárdenas has extensive work experience in the banking and financial sector. Daniel Eduardo worked at Avianca as the Head of Fraud starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager IB Fraud at Scotiabank from 2019 to 2023. Daniel Eduardo also worked at GM Financial as a Fraud and Operational Risk Supervisor from 2015 to 2019, where they were responsible for managing operational risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Daniel has also held various roles at BBVA Colombia, including Product Manager Negocio Medios de Pago and Profesional Prevención de Fraude. Their earliest work experience was as an Auditor Interno at BBVA Colombia S.A. in 2006, and as a Subgerente Operativo y Apoyo Comercial at Banco BBVA Colombia S.A. in 2005.

Daniel Eduardo Díaz Cárdenas completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the Universidad de La Salle from 2004 to 2009. Daniel Eduardo later pursued a specialization in Computer Risk Management at the Universidad Externado de Colombia from 2013 to 2014.
