Danny F. Suarez Medina has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Danny F. currently holds the position of Manager, CIO Change Management at Avianca, where they have been working since 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Manager of Digital & Technology at Avianca Cargo.

Before joining Avianca, Danny worked as an Entrepreneur & Investor at DFD Investment starting in 2018. Danny F. also worked at Colsubsidio as an IT Business Partner Manager, where they were responsible for maintaining a strategic vision of the business and aligning it with the technology strategy. Danny F. also developed and maintained relationships with strategic technology partners and translated business needs into strategic technology solutions.

Danny's early work experience includes various roles at Avianca, starting in 2002. Danny F. served as an Airports Management Analyst and later took on roles such as Airport Staff and Resources Management Analyst, IT Project Manager, Organizational Change Manager, Digital Product Manager, and Digital Transformation Project Manager.

Danny F. Suarez Medina ®️ has a diverse education history. Danny F. earned their Executive MBA in Management from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2015 to 2018. In 2017, they completed a specialization in Strategic Business Management at The George Washington University. Suarez Medina also pursued a specialization in management skills and development at UC Irvine from 2015 to 2016. In 2011 and 2012, they attended Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito, where they became an Especialista en Desarrollo y Gerencia Integral de Proyectos, focusing on project management. Prior to that, they obtained an Especialista en Gerencia de Empresas, specializing in Business Administration, from Universidad del Rosario in 2007 and 2008. Suarez Medina started their educational journey by completing an Ingeniero de sistemas degree in Ingeniería from Universidad Konrad Lorenz, which spanned from 2000 to 2005. Alongside their formal education, they have also obtained additional certifications, including the SFPC - Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate from CertiProf in 2020 and the Cert Prep: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® from LinkedIn in the same year. Furthermore, they received certifications in Digital Transformation from Google in 2019 and ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Additionally, they have been recognized for their contributions in the industry, winning the Best innovative mobile app in Colombia and Latin America award from Ecommerce awards - ecommerce institute in 2017. Finally, they have obtained certification in e retail engine from Amadeus IT Group.
