Andres Goytia

Andres Goytia is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in embedded software and firmware development. Currently serving as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Aviat Networks since June 2001, Goytia focuses on bring-up, driver development, and testing of software tools for the Eclipse radio's main board and its plug-in cards. Previous experience includes a role as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Kb/TEL Telecomunicaciones, where Goytia contributed to the design and development of a multi-protocol radio network, and as Head of the Signal Processing Section at Sidetec Electronica, where Goytia led the design of critical systems for the Laguna Verde Nuclear Power Plant. Goytia began their career as a Research Engineer at the Instituto de Investigaciones Electricas, focusing on software for nuclear plant simulator interface units. Goytia holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
