Deon Meyer

Deon Meyer has over 18 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Account Manager for the SADC Region at Aviat Networks since April 2005. Throughout the tenure at Aviat Networks, Deon has held various leadership positions, including Country Sales Manager for Ghana, Senior Manager for Africa Service Delivery, Program Manager for Southern and Eastern Africa, and Country Manager for Ghana. Additionally, Deon worked as a Transmission Engineer and Country Manager in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where responsibilities included consulting for Vodacom Congo and designing PDH microwave links and backbone routes. Prior experience includes serving as a Transmission Engineer in Nigeria, focusing on link designs for MTN Nigeria's backbone routes. Education includes attendance at Pietersburg High School and Pietersburg Technical College.
