Rachel Hutchison

Rachel Hutchison is a Manager of Defence Market Intelligence at Aviation Week Network since September 2022, where responsibility includes overseeing a new product focused on Global Defence Markets, Contracts, and Budgets. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Defence Analyst at MBDA, contributing to the UK Strategy team on economic impact and defence strategy from May 2020 to September 2022. Additionally, Rachel has held various positions related to market intelligence at the UK Defence Solutions Centre and served as a Market Intelligence Analyst at the South China Sea Think Tank. Earlier career roles included event management and various internships that provided foundational experience in research and media. Rachel holds a Master of Arts in Security, Terrorism, and Insurgency from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics with International Relations from the University of York.
