Eric S.

Eric S. has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Eric began their career in 2006 as a Computer Technician at Netux Solutions LLC, where they provided on-site support to residential and small business customers. In 2011, they joined RateLinx as a Software Engineer, eventually becoming a Software Engineer Team Lead. In this role, they managed a team of 5 engineers, developed software functionality for customer-specific needs, and ensured efficient handling of issue tracker tasks.

From 2014 to 2016, Eric worked at Spredfast as a Senior Software Engineer, collaborating with programmers, product managers, and designers to achieve milestone goals. Eric then progressed to the position of Software Engineering Manager, leading multiple engineering teams and working closely with product managers and designers to ensure efficient and iterative development on complex products.

In 2017, Eric joined AkitaBox as a Software Engineer Team Lead, where they contributed to the development of a SaaS application for proactive building management.

Most recently, Eric S. served as the Director of Software Engineering at Avid Ratings, where they achieved major development goals related to transitioning to AWS, overseeing platform migration, and integrating with partner providers/customers. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Software Engineering at Avid Ratings.

Eric S. attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville from 2006 to 2009. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems. Additionally, they also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, with a general focus.
