Jim McCarthy

Jim McCarthy has worked in the technology industry since 1995. Jim's first role was as Internet Application Project Leader at ExecPC/Voyager.Net/CoreComm from 1995 to 2002. During this time, they oversaw up to 6 project developers on the creation of a web based customer care and billing system and introduced a MOD_Perl template system. From 2002 to 2005, Jim was a Senior Web Applications Developer at BrownBoots Interactive, Inc. where they wrote and maintained web based CMS systems in PHP, Perl and Javascript, and took leadership in moving designs to standards compliant XHTML and CSS. From 2005 to 2007, they were Director of Enterprise Development at Shoutlet, Inc., a cloud-based social marketing platform. Finally, since 2018, Jim has been a Senior Software Engineer at Avid Ratings, a customer experience technology company for the homebuilding industry.

Jim McCarthy attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from 1992 to 1996, majoring in Anthropology and Journalism.
