Kristi A.

Kristi A. has extensive experience in education and customer service. Currently serving as an AVID Care Customer Service Specialist at AVID Center since March 2017, Kristi assists clients with event registration and technology support. Previous roles include serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Grossmont College, San Diego City College, and the University of Guam, where Kristi taught courses in Women's and Gender Studies and developed curricula. Kristi also worked as a Lecturer at San Diego State University, where teaching involved utilizing various online platforms to facilitate learning. Earlier experience includes customer service roles at FTD Companies and a volunteer coordinator position with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, complemented by a strong academic background with a Master’s degree in Women’s Studies from San Diego State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education and Women’s Studies from Appalachian State University.
