Ansel Schoonhoven

Ansel Schoonhoven is an experienced community engagement and outdoor education professional currently serving as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy since May 2023, while also working as a Park Guide for the Presidio Trust. Prior to these roles, Ansel has accumulated a wealth of experience as an Instructor with Outward Bound California and as a Yoga Instructor at Tom Taylor Family YMCA, both since January 2018. Other notable positions include Naturalist at YMCA Camp Seymour, Lead Climbing Instructor at Avid4 Adventure, and Belay Staff at Bridges Rock Gym. Ansel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Outdoor Leadership from North Greenville University, obtained between 2015 and 2017.
