Matt Weaver

Matt Weaver is an experienced software engineer and leader with a strong background in software development and DevOps. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at AvidXchange, Inc. since October 2018, Matt has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Platform and Release Engineering and Director of DevOps. Prior to AvidXchange, Matt worked at TIAA as a Lead Development Manager, overseeing the DevOps engineering team for the institutional line of business, and as a Lead Developer. Matt's earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Consultant at CGI Federal, specializing in JEE architecture and Health Information Exchange solutions, and as a Software Engineer at PowerSystems International, where an order processing system was developed to enhance business processes. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, completed in 2005.
