Mike Zendan

Mike Zendan serves as the VP, Senior Deputy General Counsel at AvidXchange, Inc. since April 2022, providing essential legal counsel following the company’s IPO, with a focus on SEC reporting, corporate finance, and governance. Prior to this role, Mike held various senior positions at Mood Media from 2015 to 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing legal and compliance management during a significant Chapter 11 reorganization. From 2009 to 2015, Mike served as EVP, General Counsel and Secretary at Horizon Lines, managing legal, governance, and financial obligations while reporting directly to the CEO. Additionally, Mike was Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Muzak Holdings LLC from 1999 to 2009, where significant contributions included navigating a successful Chapter 11 reorganization amid economic challenges. Mike Zendan is a graduate of Boston University School of Law, University at Buffalo School of Law, and Cornell University, holding degrees in Financial Services Compliance, J.D., and Hotel Administration, respectively.
