Rory Fraser

Rory Fraser is a Software Developer II at Avigilon since December 2020, with previous experience as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon from July 2018 to July 2020. At Amazon, Rory focused on designing models to enhance software, improving documentation, and adding functionality to the testing suite utilizing Scala. Prior to Amazon, Rory served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia, providing feedback on engineering laboratory reports for ESL students, and completed a Software Development Engineer Internship at Amazon, where a Java service was designed and implemented. Rory's work history includes customer service roles at UBC Bookstore, Marquise Facilities Corporation, and retail positions at NBC Olympics and Indigo, demonstrating a strong foundation in both technical and customer-oriented environments. Rory holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, both from The University of British Columbia.
