Lisa Molz

Lisa is the Vice President of Research. She is responsible for expanding the extracellular degrader platform, leading drug discovery programs, and contributing to building out the company. Prior to joining Avilar, Lisa was a Senior Director of Translational Sciences at Mitobridge and Director of Biology at Navitor Pharmaceuticals, where she led programs from target ideation to IND. She also has experience establishing technology platforms and leading large external partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and academic research labs. Lisa earned her PhD at State University of New York at Stony Brook in cell cycle genetics in the laboratory of Dr. David Beach and completed a post-doc studying signaling pathways in the laboratory of Dr. Lewis T. Williams at UCSF.
