Patrick Smith

Patrick Smith is an Aerospace Software Engineer at Avilution, LLC, specializing in the development of embedded flight software products with an emphasis on customization and modular avionics solutions. Prior experience includes an internship focused on embedded C avionics and graphics development, as well as active participation in The Space Hardware Club at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where multiple leadership roles were held in various projects, including the successful CanSat Competition. Patrick also supported research in aerodynamics, served as a teaching assistant in engineering, and gained research experience in a prestigious Korean institute. Patrick obtained a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and graduated from the South Carolina Governor's School for Science & Mathematics.
