Sankalpa Dhakal

Sankalpa Dhakal has extensive work experience in the field of Identity and Access Management (IAM). They began their career in 2011 as a Consultant for VetsAmerica Business Consulting, Inc., where they worked on projects involving MS Dynamics CRM 2011 and CA User Activity Reporting Module (UARM). In 2015, they joined Union Bank as a CA Governance Minder 12.6 Architect, where they focused on application integration, creating configurations, access certification campaigns, role discovery, and creating business process rules.

They then moved on to Wells Fargo in 2015 as a BSA - Oracle Identity Governance, followed by a role at QuikTrip as an RBAC Lead from 2016 to 2018. At Technatomy Corporation, they worked as a Sr. IDM Consultant in a project for veterans affairs, utilizing IBM Security Access Manager, IBM Tivoli Federated Identity Manager, IBM Datapower XI52, and IBM Websphere. In 2018, they joined GeBBS Consulting as a CA Identity Governance Engineer for NASCO Blue Cross Blue Shield.

In 2019, Sankalpa Dhakal joined Infosys as a Sr Consultant, where they specialized in Identity Governance using SailPoint IIQ 8.04. They leveraged accelerator packs for application onboarding and had experience with AS/400, Oracle, MS SQL, Active Directory, Workday accounts, and RESTFUL & SOAP based API/web services connectors. They worked with Toyota Motors America as a client during their tenure at Infosys.

From 2014 to 2022, they worked at BytePerfect LLC as an IAM Architect. They then joined PathMaker Group - Identity Access Management in 2022 as a Technology Manager. Currently, they are working at Avint as a Principal Engineer - IAM, starting in 2023.

Sankalpa Dhakal earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, completing their education from 1999 to 2002.
