Mary Claire Kenworthy

Mary Claire Kenworthy has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, with extensive experience in marketing and sales roles. Mary Claire is currently the Vice President of Marketing at Avion Pharmaceuticals, a position they have held since March 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Marketing at Avion Pharmaceuticals starting in May 2018. Mary Claire also worked as the Marketing Director at the same company since joining in 2012.

Before joining Avion Pharmaceuticals, Kenworthy worked as the Managing Director - Life Sciences at Human Capital Solutions from August 2010 to August 2012. In this role, they were responsible for leading recruiting and consulting efforts in the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, diagnostics, and clinical research industries.

From 2006 to 2010, Kenworthy served as the Regional Vice President of Sales/Business Development at Noble Marketing Group. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Brand Manager at KV Pharmaceuticals from August 2004 to September 2006.

Earlier in their career, Kenworthy worked at AAI Pharma as a Senior Brand Manager from March 2002 to July 2004. Mary Claire began their career at GlaxoSmithKline in 1993, where they served as a Sales Executive, Assistant, Associate, and Brand Manager. Their responsibilities at GlaxoSmithKline included sales representation and brand management for both over-the-counter consumer products and prescription medications in the United States and New Zealand.

Mary Claire Kenworthy obtained a BA in International Business and Economics and Business from Cornell College, which they attended from 1982 to 1986. In 1988 and 1989, they pursued further education at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, earning an MIM (Master's in International Business/Marketing).
