David Schlesinger has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. David began their career as a Department Head/Officer in Charge in the US Navy, where they administered the aviation safety program and ensured personnel were trained in workplace safety. David then served as a Legislative Assistant, advising the Commander on legislation affecting Navy personnel and coordinating Congressional Delegation visits. As a Force Protection Officer Afloat, they led the establishment of a new force protection organization and was the lead planner for San Francisco Fleet Week 2011. In their most recent position as an Aerospace Engineer/Task Order Project Lead, David has been responsible for various engineering and project management tasks. David has also successfully planned and executed major at-sea experimentation venues, contributing to doctrine development and fleet tactics. Their outstanding liaison duties have fostered partnerships resulting in enhanced Fleet Warfighter readiness and capability.
David Schlesinger earned a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy between 1989 and 1993.
