Anders Lau Nielsen

Anders Lau Nielsen has over 30 years of work experience in the travel industry. Anders Lau has held various roles in companies such as Avis Budget Group, BCD Travel, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Air Canada, and DSB rejsebureau. Anders Lau'smost recent role was as the Head of Commercial Denmark & Partnership Scandinavia at Avis Budget Group. Prior to that, they served as the Director Corporate Sales Denmark and Partnerships Scandinavia at the same company. Anders Lau has also held leadership positions at BCD Travel, including Director Client Management, Commercial Director Denmark, Director Relationship Management, and Manager Operation & Shared Services in the Nordic region. Before joining BCD Travel, they worked as a Key Account Manager at Carlson Wagonlit Travel and as a Sales Manager at Air Canada. Anders Lau'searly career began as a Travel Agent at DSB rejsebureau.

Anders Lau Nielsen completed their primary education at Skowhegan Area High School & Bloomfield Academy in 1986-1987, with a focus on English, Sociology, and US History. Anders Lau then attended Roskilde Handelsskole in 1987-1988 and obtained an Elementary degree in Business/Commerce, General.

In 2008, they received a Facilitator - Coach certification from DDI International and a PPA certification from Thomas International.

In 2020, Anders enrolled in Copenhagen Business School for Board Management studies as well as in KEA - Københavns Erhvervsakademi, where they pursued a degree in Forandringsledelse (Change Management) with a focus on educational leadership and administration.

Anders Lau obtained additional certifications throughout their career, including Board Governance from Ledernes KompetenceCenter, Advanced Negotiation Skills from Scotwork, and Facilitator from DDI | Development Dimensions International.
