Rodney Townsend

Rodney Townsend has an extensive work experience that spans over several industries. Rodney has held various roles in the technology and transportation sectors. Rodney started their career as a Webmaster at EDS Group in 1996 and then moved on to Continental Airlines where they served as a Project Manager, Sr. Manager of Application Development, Director of Application Development, and finally as a Managing Director of Airport Applications Development. In 2011, Rodney joined United Airlines where they held several Managing Director positions, including Loyalty Services, IT Customer Travel Experience, Customer Mobility Solutions, and Digital Channels and Personalization. In 2022, Rodney joined JetBlue as a Vice President of Technology Products and later joined Avis Budget Group as their Vice President of Technology Products and Engineering in 2023. Rodney has a strong background in technology and has proven himself as a leader in delivering innovative solutions and enhancing user experiences.

Rodney Townsend holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Sciences from Southern Methodist University, which they attained between the years 1992 and 1996. Before that, they completed their high school education at Jersey Village High School from 1988 to 1992.
