Chris Schlothauer

Chris Schlothauer serves as the Electric Operations Manager at Avista, having a comprehensive career path within the company that spans multiple roles since 1998. Responsibilities include overseeing new revenue, maintenance, repair, and outage restoration for electric distribution and transmission grids across various regions, along with managing fleet operations encompassing over 1200 assets. Prior experience includes roles as a General Foreman, District Manager, Operations Assistant Manager, and Construction Project Coordinator, contributing to a solid foundation in utility operations. Before Avista, Chris was a General Manager at Starlite Inc., managing traffic control operations, and a Field Superintendent at Tri-State Inc., coordinating construction projects. Chris began a professional journey in the US Navy as a SEAL, acquiring specialized training. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Lewis-Clark State College.
