Mohammad Mortada Ahmed

Mohammad Mortada Ahmed currently serves as a Combustion Analyst at Aviya Aerospace Systems since December 2022. Previously, Mohammad worked as a Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer at Glen Dimplex Americas, where responsibilities included enhancing design through 3D-RANS simulations and utilizing OpenFOAM tools for various modeling tasks. An extensive academic background is highlighted by the role of Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo, focusing on fire modeling and turbulent combustion for aviation fuels, along with teaching assistant and lecturer positions in fluid mechanics and differential equations. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Turbulent Combustion Modeling from the University of Waterloo and an MSc in Heat Transfer Applications from Cairo University.
