Callie Wilcox

Callie Wilcox is a dedicated veterinary student currently pursuing a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, expected to graduate in May 2025. Callie holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a specialization in Genetics from the University of California, Davis, completed in 2021. Experience includes serving as a Student Ambassador for AVMA LIFE since March 2022, Vice President of the Student American Veterinary Medical Association until March 2024, and Treasurer for the UC Davis VBMA until January 2024. Callie has gained practical experience as a Veterinary Student Intern at Alicia Pet Care Center and as a Veterinary Student Scholar at Morris Animal Foundation. Research experience includes roles as a STAR Student Researcher at Finno Lab, UC Davis, and an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the same lab, alongside earlier work as a Veterinary Assistant and Animal Caretaker at Alicia Pet Care Center.
