Rob Nunley

Rob Nunley is an experienced engineering and technology professional with a robust background in the chemical manufacturing sector. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering & Technology Services at AVN Corp. since May 2013, Rob Nunley oversees multiple groups including the Chemicals Technology Group and the Health, Safety, Environmental & Security Group. Prior roles include Director of Manufacturing at both AVN Corporation and MATRIC, where Rob Nunley transitioned the company into a for-profit entity focusing on contract R&D and custom chemical manufacturing. Earlier career positions include Pilot Plant Manager and Senior Process Engineer at MATRIC, as well as various roles at The Dow Chemical Company and Union Carbide, where Rob Nunley contributed to process design, project management, and production oversight. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester and two Master’s degrees in Engineering Science with a focus on Chemical Engineering from Marshall University.
